Sig Sauer P365XL Spectre Comp pistol
The Sig Sauer P365XL has an XSeries LXG laser stippled grip module and a Custom Works slide that is exclusive to this model, as well as updated cocking serrations that give the pistol a distinct look with the Titanium Nitride gold barrel and trigger. The Spectre Comp’s integrated compensator, however, is what truly distinguishes it.
It not only reduces muzzle flip by nearly 30%, but it will never come loose or cause function issues due to its unique integrated construction with the slide. Furthermore, a new Romeo Zero Elite optic installed with an optic-ready slide and rear dovetail sight can be co-witnessed with suppressor height sights. The Sig Sauer P365 XL Spectre Comp provides all of the advantages of a compensated pistol in a dependable, concealable, everyday carry package.

Originally bought it for my wife for her edc. Put it in a Wilson combat grip module slapped a safety on it and switched the mag release to lefty for her. Shot it at the range and walked out and bought another one for myself From Guns and Gadgets . Put mine in an Icarus precision grip module, upgraded my trigger and put a mag guts +2 in it. Best edc pistol I Weber owned. Highly recommend

It is a pleasure to take this to the range! Aside from the fact that it is the perfect EDC this handgun delivers on everything you could want from a personal and home defense piece

I am very happy with the Spectre Comp. The recoil is very manageable and it’s a lot of fun to shoot, especially rapid fire. I put a green dot Holosun 507k on mine and the fit was perfect. Is it worth the money? Right now I would say, “yes” but once companies start to make aftermarket slides similar to Spectre Comp, then I might change my opinion. The grip texture is fine but I wish it filled the hand just a bit more but that’s my only gripe about the gun. But it’s a very controllable gun despite the small grip purchase.
Will recommend a 5 star

Full disclosure, I am a die hard Sig Sauer fan and have very few negative things to say about the company. I have such a great love for Sig products that when my FFL got a call from their distributer saying that one of these was in stock and I they had thirty minutes to take it or give it up they called me. Of course I said yes and bought the gun. My FFL got my copy in earlier today and I cannot be more pleased This gun is fantastic, the fit and finish are remarkable. The two chamber compensator built into the slide is genius, the laser stapled grip is far more effective than the original xl.The question that I have been asked multiple times is whether or not this gun is worth $1250. I don’t have a single answer for that question. If you are asking me If the average gun owner, or individual looking to become one, then no they should go get an original P365xl or a p320. If you are an individual who values innovation and is willing to pay for it, then this is a great buy. Let me put it this way, if the gun were $1,600 then I would still buy it and not feel bad about it at all. This is a remarkable gun for individuals who are willing, or able to, pay a premium for the cutting edge of firearms, specifically concealed carry development. I cannot recommend Sig or there products enough and the XL Spectre Comp is no exception so long as you value the time and effort that went into making them. Thank you Guns and Gadgets for the good discounts and fast delivery process too I am definitely getting the P320 too.

You may have read some of the other reviews complaining about the titanium nitride gold barrel getting blemished quickly and I have to say, it is true. After just 100 rounds, the gold barrel was black from the powder and after cleaning it, some of the blemishes from the use would not go away. So the finish is definitely not very lasting. However. Bought this pistol to replace my old(er) P365XL as my new EDC and I don’t care about the blemishes because the P365XL Spectre Comp works! The grip is amazing and the compensator works. I was almost kicked out of the range for rapid fire as I tried to shoot as fast as I could on target. The recoil is definitely improved with the integrated compensator. Amazing technology. The P365XL Spectre Comp is a little overpriced, in my opinion, but I am very happy with the purchase. And it looks great… even with the blemishes on the barrel.

I picked up a new Spectre Comp (SC) a few days back and have now taken it to the range twice. I was always skeptical of what the SC was said to bring to the table and now that I own one and have put several hundred rounds through it, it’s time to fess up and tell some hard truths.
I never run optics on my handguns but as you can see decided to delve into it with the HS407K – it’s pretty cool actually. : )
Ok, so in an effort to really understand what the SC brings I took my standard P365XL to the range as well. I would shoot the P365XL, then immediately pick up the SC and repeat the same number of shots etc. and here are my thoughts broken down
The Look – Very Cool
The Feel – Just like a standard P365XL
Trigger – Absolutely no difference at all from the standard P365XL, OMG look its gold. eye roll
Slide Serrations – Minimalistic and quite awful once you start sweating
Comp/Flat Shooting – Depends
So you might be gathering so far that the major price increase between the P365XL and SC might not be justified afterall eh?
The first time at the range, I could tell no difference between them (went to an indoor range). Took it outdoors yesterday and was able to lay down some quick 4, 5, 6 shots on steel (a few mag dumps as well) and this is where quite obviously a comp is going to shine right? Well…kinda!
Does the SC shoot flatter or feel less snappy than a P365XL? The final answer is yes but its not a huge difference. You are not going to fire the SC and shout to the heavens how incredible it is. Others at the range felt the same, there is a difference but its not a big one at all.
Note: I also had several failure to feeds with the SC. It did not like Critical Defense. I had cleaned it before taking it out the first time and it failed to feed several rounds.
Yesterday after shooting hundreds of rounds it failed to feed 124g HST, it was filthy so dropped some oil in and it loaded fine and I have not had any stove pipes or any other issues. I am confident it will handle HST fine

The Sig P365XL Spectre Comp, because you know, identifying a gun with a simple number like seventeen, nineteen, or a strong animal name isn’t good enough. Sig has to be different, and in this example, it’s a very good thing!
Thank you Guns and Gadgets.
